Carving Station
Does anyone know any caterers that can work off site on Manhattan for $25-$30 a head?
Not looking for quail eggs or caviar. Just looking for a company than can do a simple but good buffet style set up with a meat carving station, potatoes, pasta, salad, and whatnot for a group of 50 to 100. Off site on Manhattan.
Not going to happen. Your max figure, $3000 ($30 x 100 people) would have to cover, kitchen staff, wait staff, the actual food, and various other expenses like furniture, linen, china and crystal rentals. Even without all those rentals, this is not financially possible even in the outer boroughs and certainly not in Manhattan.
You could probably cover 100 people with 3000 if you got catering delivered from a restaurant and did complete self service (axe the carving station) and used disposable plates, etc and did Your Own clean-up.
